Datapoint: Blue Cross NC Expands Blue Premier to Kidney Care

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina last week said it expanded Blue Premier, its value-based care program, to kidney care services. The program, a partnership with Blue Premier participants Strive Health and Fresenius, is available to the insurer’s commercial and Medicare Advantage members with advanced kidney disease. Blue Cross NC is currently the largest insurer in North Carolina, with 2,566,244 members.
