Datapoint: Centene to Expand Cityblock Partnership to Florida

Cityblock has expanded its relationships with Centene Corp. to provide primary care and care coordination services to Medicaid enrollees in Florida. Cityblock, which specializes in delivering value-based care to adult Medicaid beneficiaries, has existing relationships with Centene subsidiaries in New York and Ohio. Effective May 1, Cityblock began providing wraparound services 24/7 and across modalities to members of Centene’s Sunshine Health in 11 Central Florida counties, according to a company press release. Centene’s Sunshine State Health Plan currently serves 1,159,919 members, making it the largest Medicaid managed care plan in Florida.
