Datapoint: Clover Health Reports First Year of Earnings as a Public Company

In its first earnings report released as a publicly traded company, Medicare Advantage (MA) startup Clover Health on March 1 said it generated more than $670 million in revenue for the full year ending Dec. 31, 2020, and reported a net loss of $91.6 million. That’s an improvement over 2019, when the insurer reported a net loss of $363.7 million. As of February 2021, Clover Health enrolls 65,230 MA lives in eight states.
