Datapoint: Florida Blue to Work With Amazon Pharmacy on Home Delivery

Guidewell’s Florida Blue last week selected Amazon Pharmacy as its exclusive home delivery provider for prescription drugs. The partnership, which covers the insurer’s individual and group risk-based businesses, will begin Jan. 1, 2023. Amazon Pharmacy has been available to Florida Blue’s self-funded members since earlier this year. The insurer — the largest in Florida — currently serves 3,685,879 members, with 61.9% enrolled in commercial risk-based plans.
