Datapoint: Health Partners Plans to Rebrand Under Jefferson Health Ownership

Philadelphia-based public sector insurer Health Partners Plans will rebrand as Jefferson Health Plans, phasing in the new name through 2025. “This is an exciting and significant step forward for our Health Plans to incorporate our commitment to bringing quality care to the communities we serve, addressing health disparities, inequities, and improving health outcomes,” Joseph G. Cacchione, Jefferson’s CEO, said in an Aug. 2 press release. Jefferson Health, the largest health system in the greater Philadelphia region, gained sole ownership of Health Partners Plans in November 2021. The insurer currently serves 395,612 members, with 96.7% enrolled in managed Medicaid.
