Datapoint: Missouri Withdraws Medicaid Expansion Plans

After its state legislature declined to allocate the funds, Missouri is withdrawing plans for its voter-approved Medicaid expansion, according to a May 13 letter from Gov. Mike Parson (R) to CMS. Missouri currently serves 1,048,142 Medicaid beneficiaries, and an additional 230,000 were estimated to become eligible under expansion.
