Datapoint: Molina Completes Texas Medicaid Acquisition

Molina Healthcare on Monday said it completed its acquisition of Cigna Corp.’s Texas Medicaid assets. The $60 million deal boosts Molina’s Medicaid presence in the state by 21.8%, to 267,710 lives. 4.97 million people currently receive Medicaid coverage via managed care plans in Texas.
