Datapoint: Montana Appoints New Medicaid Director

The state of Montana last week appointed Mike Randol as the head of its Medicaid program, according to a report from Kaiser Health News. Randol has previously led Medicaid privatization efforts in Iowa and Kansas. Montana is one of the few remaining states that manages Medicaid beneficiaries under a fee-for-service delivery model. It currently serves 353,760 beneficiaries.
