Datapoint: New Hampshire to Rebid Medicaid Contracts

New Hampshire last month released a request for proposals for payers to administer its Medicaid managed care program. Selected MCOs will integrate acute care, behavioral health and pharmacy services, plus provide support for members’ health-related social needs. New Hampshire’s managed Medicaid program is currently served by AmeriHealth Caritas (31,542 members), Centene Corp. (62,321 members) and Well Sense Health Plan (67,885 members). The state expects to announce awards in January, with contracts beginning in September 2024.
