Datapoint: Oklahoma Awards Contracts for Medicaid Transformation

Oklahoma has selected Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, Humana Inc., Centene Corp. and UnitedHealthcare to serve its new Medicaid managed care program, SoonerSelect. The transition is set to begin October 1, 2021. Oklahoma currently serves 840,260 Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries through a fee-for-service delivery system.
