Worcester, Mass.-based health system UMass Memorial Health is launching an insurance company, according to a May 7 report in the Worcester Business Journal. An affiliate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, UMass Memorial Health is the largest health system in Central Massachusetts. The top provider-sponsored health insurers in Massachusetts include Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan (332,610 lives), Fallon Health (263,789 lives) and Health New England, Inc. (159,822 lives).
