Datapoint: Zing Health to Acquire Lasso Healthcare

In an effort to expand its geographic footprint, Medicare Advantage (MA) startup Zing Health last month said it has entered an agreement to acquire Lasso Healthcare, which offers Medicare Medical Savings Account plans in 34 states and Washington, D.C.Zing Health enrolls just 794 MA members in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and it is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021 subject to regulatory approval.
