What’s your role at MMIT?
I lead MMIT’s product team, which is responsible for creating intuitive, high-value products to help our customers make smart, timely decisions.
Tell us about your background.
I’ve had the good fortune of longevity in the Life Sciences industry. During the past 28 years, I’ve served as a consultant for all aspects of pharmaceutical and biotech product commercialization, holding leadership roles with a number of entrepreneurial companies in healthcare analytics, research, data and technology. Most recently, I served in real-world data and decision science roles within the specialty therapy and oncology product space. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Bloomsburg University.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
I enjoy collaborating with clients to figure out what business challenges they’re facing. When we can bring our knowledge and products together in one revolutionary solution, we can make an immediate impact on a client’s business.
What do you find the most interesting about the world of market access?
I really enjoy helping patients get the right therapy in a timely fashion. Patients often live with a disease for months or even years before they receive a correct diagnosis. As therapies work differently for each of us, it becomes challenging to find the most effective treatment at the earliest possible point. I am firm believer in MMIT’s mission, and I am working to ensure that our product roadmap reflects our commitment to smoothing access to life-saving therapies.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever taken and why?
My wife and I love skiing, and in fact I proposed to her on the slopes in Colorado. Before having kids, the most remarkable trip we’ve ever taken was to the Matterhorn in Switzerland. We were able to ski between Italy and the Swiss alps on a glacier, surrounded by breathtaking scenery in an incredibly remote location. It was a beautiful journey, the kind you only take once in a lifetime.
